HOW DOES IT WORK?
OTP stands for Outstanding Trucking Professionals. Our company drivers often ask us about how they can begin earning even more with GP Transco, and the new OTP Profit-sharing program is the answer.
All truck drivers who begin working at GP Transco are required to have a minimum 1 year of recent and verifiable trucking experience, a good driving record, outstanding professionalism, and a commitment to the job. For that, drivers are paid a competitive rate of 50 cents per mile from the start, which is over $78,000/year with the ability to receive health insurance, 401k with matching, and more. In order for a driver to make even more via the OTP Profit-Sharing Bonus, he or she must maintain the following on a consistent basis as well as have each load week delivered successfully:

EARN UP TO $89,000/year*
OTP adds 6cpm to a driver's pay. Each driver will have a review every 6 months, and if he or she qualified for OTP for 75% of the previous 6 months, he or she will have another 1cpm added to their OTP
*Drivers will still be paid the agreed base per-mile rate if OTP status is not maintained - drivers would simply not qualify for the bonus for the prior week driven. All salary estimates are based on a 3,000-mile week and a driver continuously maintaining an OTP status. Regional drivers currently on the daily flat rate do not qualify for the GP Transco OTP profit-sharing bonus, but can choose to move to the per-mile pay basis. Team drivers are eligible for the bonus on a per-truck basis. Categories are subject to change. The $1,000 weekly guarantee is based on the average of 2 weeks of work - in order to qualify, the driver must average less than $1,000 during the 2-week period (pre-tax). 6-month raises to the OTP profit sharing bonus are available to qualifying drivers, those who received OTP for 75% of the time the previous 6 months. Maximum raise: 1 cpm every 6 months. Drivers opting into having an optional driver-facing camera increases his or her base pay to 52cpm instead of 50cpm; the extra 2cpm comes in the form of a guarantee of a third of the OTP Profit Sharing (which is 2 cpm), meaning that 52cpm + OTP Profit Sharing will equal 56cpm, and plus a fuel bonus it comes to 57cpm. GP Transco company drivers earned 60cpm on average in 2020, which comes from their base pay + OTP profit sharing + all other accessorial pay (extra stops, layover pay, driver assist pay, etc.)
