Job Description

GP Transco is an asset-based trucking and logistics company, currently operating 500 trucks and over 700 trailers over the road. Headquarters located in Joliet, IL USA. We are one of the highest-paying trucking companies in the United States and pride ourselves on bringing a modern approach to the industry, and not settling for outdated industry practices. We have been in business for over 15 years and have plans for growth, which is why we are looking to add new talent to our team.

GP Transco Colombia division was recently established as a satellite office to provide direct support to our operations. We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join the Sales Team as a Customer Service Represenative.

*** NOTE: this position is work from the office in Medellin (El Poblado). This is not a remote position. ***

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inbound/outbound calls,

  • Data entry. Document actions by completing reports, logs and records,

  • Effectively prioritize situations and make decisions based on the information received,

  • Providing driver updates to the customers and brokers,

  • Assisting drivers with directions, breakdowns, load information,

  • Problem solving while under pressure.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

  • Possess strong communication skills,

  • Basic computer proficiency, i.e. load boards, email, transportation programs,

  • Ability to work weekends and holidays,

  • Being on time, prompt, and prepared on a daily basis,

  • High school degree,

  • MUST multi-task in a fast paced environment and maintain composure under pressure,

  • Self-motivated problem-solver that has a strong desire to meet our company needs,

  • Accurate data entry.

SCHEDULE:

  • Monday: 4pm - 10pm (30 minutes lunch)

  • Tuesday: 4pm - 10pm (30 minutes lunch)

  • Wednesday: 4pm - 10pm (30 minutes lunch)

  • Thursday: 4pm - 10pm (30 minutes lunch)

  • Friday: 4pm - 10pm (30 minutes lunch)

  • Saturday: 7am - 4pm (1hr lunch time)

  • Total hours per week: 40hours

JOB TYPE:       Full time - After Hours
