GP Transco is an innovative logistics company that hires experienced drivers, talented office staff, and uses state-of-the-art equipment & in-house developed software to deliver goods in the U.S.

 

Marketing and public relations are an important part of our success and future, and we continuously produce creative audio-visual materials to highlight various aspects of the organization, our services, our staff, our equipment, facilities, and more. We are currently looking for an experienced videographer to take our creative work to the next level, bringing a level of creativity and quality to an industry where it is generally lacking. It is a real opportunity to stand out through your work on a national basis.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Strategic Business Development, the perfect candidate will:

  • Film both corporate and creative projects.

  • Fully edit & produce the content (Final Cut or Adobe Premier).

  • Have a strong understanding of making audio-visual work more appealing, interesting, innovative, etc.

  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager when it comes to publishing the work.

  • ​Know how to edit audio and connect it with video work in a rhythmic, appealing manner.

  • Quickly gain an understanding of the company’s overall branding and direction.

  • Have strong people skills.

  • Take initiative by bringing new and creative ideas to management.

  • Have photography skills (optional but a big plus).

  • Be proficient in setting up lighting for a shoot.

  • Be proficient in setting up audio for a shoot.

  • Be ready to lead a camera crew (1-3 people who are working as contractors and not full time employees of the company) on larger-scale video projects (2-3 times/year).

  • Outsource work when needed (animation, etc.) and manage the relationship with the relevant vendors.

  • Travel to shooting locations (3-4 times/year).

  • Work out of our newly-constructed & modern headquarters in Joliet, IL.

  • Equipment will be selected/recommended by the corporate videographer and purchased by the company; you don’t need to bring your own equipment.
